The Atiku Abubakar Rescue Team has submitted the report of its nationwide consultative tours to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The report is the outcome of the Team’s meeting with members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), supporters and other critical stakeholders across the country on the 2023 presidential aspiration of Atiku Abubakar.
While submitting the report, the leader of the Rescue Team, High Chief Dokpesi, thanked Atiku Abubakar for the opportunity and the trust accorded him and the Team.
On the overall assessment of the tours, High Chief Dokpesi told the former Vice President that the Team encountered several challenges and successes during the tours.
He said that one of the successes of the tour was the general acceptance by Nigerians across the country, even in the southeast region and other southern states, urging and calling on Vice President Atiku Abubakar to run for the presidency in 2023.
Responding, Atiku Abubakar thanked the Team for their wonderful display of love by going round the country to consult Nigerians on his behalf.
He expressed his profound gratitude, especially to the leader of the Rescue Team, saying that it was a selfless task and even his blood brother from the same womb wouldn’t have taken up such tours without financial mobilization.
The Former Vice President assured the Rescue Team that he would go through the reports and work towards implementing the recommendations as contained in the report.
