Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has met with General Abdulsalami Abubakar, a former head of state.
The private meeting between the two leaders was held on Sunday, in Minna, the Niger state capital.
Obasanjo said he was in Minna to meet with Abubakar who has been indisposed.
The meeting comes days after the former president met with some Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike in London.
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi was part of the London meeting.
He had also hosted Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun state earlier.
On Sunday, reports say Obasanjo arrived at Abdulsalami’s residence at about 12.30 pm.
He said he would unveil his agenda for the 2023 elections “soon”.
The former president also said he has no preferred candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
“I came to see my brother who has been a little indisposed. When he was in London, I wanted to visit him but the day I arrived in London was the day he left. So that is why I decided to come and see him at home.
“He is very special and I am still strong to visit those who are special to me,” he said to reporters.
Former President Obasanjo later proceeded to the home of Ibrahim Babangida, another former military head of state.
