The former spokesman for the defunct Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala has tackled the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Nyesom Wike and his loyalists, for allegedly fomenting trouble in Rivers state.
In a post published on his official X account, Bwala asserted that the protracted crisis in the state is an indication that certain elements within the corridors of power do not want Governor Siminalayi Fubara to govern Rivers state in peace.
Bwala who was apparently reacting to the parallel sitting by Pro-Wike lawmakers today in Port Harcourt, called on the FCT Minister to retrace his steps, saying it was high time he realised he is not God.
He therefore called on President Bola Tinubu to urgently wade into the crisis and reconcile the political players in the hopes of restoring peace and good governance in Rivers state.
His words; The crisis rocking the River State, allegedly fueled by some acclaimed loyalist of @GovWike is reaching the fever pitch of judicial pronouncements. Clearly some undemocratic elements do not want @SimFubaraKSC to govern Rivers state in peace
“I humbly call on the father of the nation @officialABAT to once again intervene and reconcile the political players in the hopes of restoring peace and good governance in Rivers state.
“The government and good people of Rivers state have pledged their loyalty to the constitution and the president of the republic. God willing 2027 Rivers people would vote President Tinubu.
“Since 1999, many godfathers have had their problems with their successors, but none has taken a fight this far like…………
“Wike must realize he is not god and politicians stronger than him had to shield swords in the interest of peace and stability.”
