The State working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has suspended former governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom over anti-party activities.
Ortom’s suspension was conveyed in a statement signed on Monday by the PDP’s Benue state Media Consultant, Hon. C T Hwande.
The suspension, according to the statement hinges on Ortom’s choice of the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 election and his statement calling on Benue PDP to vote for APC in the 2027 Presidential election and Hon. Azua Ashongo for gross insubordination and indiscipline.
Similarly, the State Working Committee equally suspended Chief Isaac Mffo and Bemgba Iortyom from the party.
The suspension of the duo according to the statement, follows their involvement in the snatching of Congress materials meant for the conduct of last Saturdays ward congresses in Buruku and Ushongo local government areas respectively.
The statement further noted that the suspension takes effect from Friday, 2nd August 2024.

After I originally commented I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on each time a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment. Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service? Kudos!
