Daar Communications Plc, the parent company of AIT, has announced the retirement of its ten principal staff who have spent over 10-years in Executive Management positions.
The company, in a statement on Monday, noted that the retirement of the Executive Management members takes effect from October 31, 2024.
The statement reads: “DAAR Communications PLC announces retirement of 10 members of its Executive Management who have spent over 10-years in such capacity with effect from October 31, 2024
“Executive Management staff affected include Senior High Chief Tony Akiotu, Dr. Oluwatosin Dokpesi, Dr. Ambrose Somide, Anthony Uyah, Paulyn Ugbodagha, Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi, Faith Ikems, Imoni Amarere, John Iwarue and Johnson Onime
“Retirement of affected members of Executive Management is in compliance with Code of Corporate Governance as well as Company’s Internal Control Policies and Procedures Manual
“Board of DAAR Communications PLC expresses gratitude to all affected Executive members for their invaluable contributions to the Company during their tenure in management and wishes them the very best in their future endeavours
“Media conglomerate is working on major restructuring of its leadership and once this is concluded, the Nigerian Exchange Limited, NGX and other regulatory authorities, its Shareholders and General Public would be notified of such changes”
