Reinstated Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed deep gratitude to the people of the state for the overwhelming reception accorded him on his return to Port Harcourt.
Speaking shortly after arriving at the airport, Governor Fubara said he was humbled by the show of love, confidence, and solidarity demonstrated by the massive crowd that turned out to welcome him.
“I am really humbled by what I saw at the airport. It showed love, confidence, and solidarity. It is not just about the celebration or the numbers, but a reaffirmation of the bond between this government and the people we are serving,” he stated.

Fubara assured Rivers people that his administration will, by the grace of God, continue to deliver on the mandate that has earned their support.
“We will continue to do those things that have made you love us. I want to appreciate everyone and to say that we love you,” he added.
The governor’s remarks came after reports of a massive rally in Port Harcourt on Thursday, where thousands trooped out to celebrate his reinstatement.
