The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a 73-member National Convention Central Coordination Committee ahead of its national convention scheduled for March 27 and 28, 2026.
The party announced Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as Chairman of the committee, while Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, will serve as Secretary.
APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, also disclosed that the Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has been appointed Vice Chairman of the committee.
The national convention is expected to produce new members of the party’s National Working Committee and shape the future leadership of the APC.
The committee includes several serving governors from across the country, reflecting the party’s national spread and leadership structure.
Among them are governors from Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, and Taraba states.
Other notable members include APC Interim National Chairman Bisi Akande and former party chairmen Adams Oshiomhole, Abdullahi Adamu, and Abdullahi Ganduje.
Also listed are Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, and Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa (retd.).

Top lawmakers on the committee include Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and their deputies.
Former Senate Presidents and past Speakers of the House of Representatives are also part of the committee.
The APC had earlier released a timetable for its ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses, all leading to the national convention.
The party says the convention will strengthen internal democracy and set the agenda for its leadership going forward.
