The Rivers State government is proposing to spend eight hundred billion, three hundred and ninety-two million, four hundred and thirty-three naira (800, 392, 485, 433.01) only for the 2024 fiscal year.
Presenting the budget christened “budget of renewed hope, consolidation and continuity”, Governor Sim Fubara said the overall policy objectives of the budget are to promote economic development through inclusive growth, provision of infrastructure to support economic growth and an enabling environment for private sector-led industrialisation, job creation and poverty reduction
