Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has held a strategic meeting with former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso at his residence.
Atiku disclosed the visit in a statement shared on his Facebook page on Wednesday, noting that their discussion focused on the progress of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and issues related to good governance.
The meeting comes shortly after Kwankwaso resigned from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and joined the ADC.
The development has sparked political interest as consultations among opposition figures continue ahead of the 2027 general elections.
