The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party – PDP, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu has started harvesting new members into the party.
This is as he commenced his rebuilding programme of the PDP by bringing back old members of the party in his local council, Gboko, who had joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ayu, on Monday, received a ranking member of the House of Representatives, John Dyegh, along with thousands of defectors in Gboko/Tarka Constituency.

The National Chairman of the PDP also predicted that the leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the State, Senator George Akume, will soon defect to the PDP.
“Your lost son, George Akume, is coming back to the PDP. I am saying this based on what I know.
“He will come back to the PDP as a prodigal son.
“I earlier prophesied that Akume would hold a broom, and he did. Now, I am prophesying that he will come back to the PDP.
“When he comes back, do not reject him but make sure you rehabilitate him because where he is now, he is not thinking straight,” he said.
Leader of the party in the Northcentral region, Governor Samuel Ortom received the multitude of defectors with a message of unity of purpose amongst leaders in the State
