Opposition voice, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, has come under the radar of powerful political forces who are now bent on silencing him for speaking out.
Ugochinyere, who recently survived a plot to expel him from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), symfoninews learnt, had drawn the ire of strong political force in Abuja, who have perfected a plot to shut him up.
According to information available to symfoninews, the new plot is being orchestrated by persons believed to be opposed to the government of Sir Siminalayi Fubara in Rivers state.
The plot, as symfoninews learnt, would include the use of surrogates to frame the House of Representatives member with allegations of corruption and conversion of public property to private use.
Hon. Ugochinyere is noted as the only strong opposition voice against the machinations of powerful Abuja forces against Gov. Fubara.
His activism against plots to breach the government of Sir Fubara is said to be making the Abuja forces very uncomfortable and keeping them from unleashing violence against the governor.
