Burning Council Facilities Act Of Irresponsibility – Gov Fubara

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has paid a surprise visit to assess the extent of damage done to the Secretariat of the Ikwerre Local Government Council in Isiokpo.

The Secretariat was attacked by arsonists, suspected to be loyalists of the former Chairman, Samuel Nwanosike, a key point-man of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Monday morning.

The inferno burnt office equipment, shattered glasses, files, chairs and tables, and other consumables.
