The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) election has expressed optimism following early results, noting that he won his polling unit and that the party also secured victory in the first reported polling unit in the area council.
He described the early outcome as a sign of progress and a reflection of the direction voters want for AMAC.
According to him, the development points to a new phase of leadership that is inclusive and focused on all residents, regardless of political party, religion, or ethnic background.
He stressed that if elected chairman, he would serve everyone in AMAC, including members of ADC, APC, PDP, SDP, and people of all faiths and ethnic groups.
The candidate emphasized the need for unity, stating that AMAC residents must see themselves as one people working toward shared goals.
He said his vision includes improving safety, creating jobs for young people, fixing rural roads, and ensuring residents can go about their daily activities without fear.
He added that his leadership would focus on strengthening the local economy and representing the people of AMAC positively both within Nigeria and beyond.
He congratulated the people of AMAC for their participation in the election and expressed confidence in a better future for the area council.
