Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has pledged rapid completion of a critical road project following the tragic death of a child caused by severe erosion. During an on-site inspection, the governor urged contractors to accelerate work, stressing that there are only five months left before the dry season.
“This road claimed a young life, and we cannot allow such tragedies to continue. When we visited previously, many doubted the project’s feasibility. But very soon, this sad incident will be history,” Governor Okpebholo said.
The governor’s intervention underscores Edo State’s commitment to road safety and timely infrastructure delivery, ensuring residents can move safely and preventing further loss of lives.
