The Project inspection team of the governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, has come under attack by hoodlums in Ugah, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state.
No casualty was recorded in the attack, but some YPP Project inspection team members were ruffled.
Ugah is the hometown of Sen. Andy Uba, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Saturday election.
The inspection team had gone ahead of Senator Ubah to prepare for the inspection of one of his landmark constituency projects within the community.

“Ugah youths then molested and harassed the inspection team,” Kamen Ogbonna, Sen. Ubah’s media aide, said.
Karen added, “We also call for the arrest and prosecution of one “Mr Evergreen” who is said to be the head of the Youth Taskforce leader in Ugah and the arrow-head deployed by Senator Andy Uba to perpetrate this heinous act.
“We assure Ndi Anambra that this desperate act by Senator Andy Uba will not be swept under the carpet as we will follow this up to a logical conclusion.”
