The “Ideato Support Fund” launched by Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere to help victims of the recent terror attack in Umualaoma, Arondizuogu, has crossed the ₦45 million mark—just a little short of the ₦50 million target.
Ugochinyere, who represents Ideato Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, began the campaign less than three weeks ago, urging friends and associates to join him in providing relief for families devastated by the killings.
The attack, which claimed 26 lives in Umualaoma, Ndi Ejezie, Ndiakunwata, and Akokwa communities, left many widows, orphans, and displaced families struggling without government assistance.

Speaking through his media aide, Charles Okafor, Ugochinyere said the funds will go directly to the victims’ families to help them rebuild their lives and support affected communities. Distribution plans will be made public once the ₦50 million goal is reached.
“This is about standing up for our people when it matters most,” he said
