Former Labour Party presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Benin City, Edo State, stating clearly that his decision is driven by the desire to advance public interest rather than seek any political position.
Speaking at the event in the new State Secretariat, where he was formally received into the party, Momodu explained that Nigeria’s current challenges require selfless collaboration and principled political engagement, not personal ambition. He stressed that his alignment with the ADC is about contributing ideas, influence, and advocacy for good governance.
Momodu, a veteran journalist and public affairs commentator, noted that political platforms should serve as vehicles for national development and citizen welfare, adding that his role within the ADC would focus on strengthening democratic values and amplifying the voice of the people.
