Kaduna state in Northwestern Nigeria has suffered yet another attack by armed men leading to loss of lives.
This comes amidst several other attacks in Northern Nigeria, with the latest killing of over 100 villagers in Plateau state.
Eyewitnesses say the attack happened in the early hours of Saturday, around 8 a.m. in broad daylight.
According to the eyewitness, the attack was on Agban Kagoro, a community in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna.
Former Chairman of the Kaura Local Government Area Kumai Badu confirmed the attack.
Badu said the terrorists came in large numbers shooting sporadically. The residents of the area were seen running for safety.
The senator representing Kaduna South Danjuma La’ah wants government and security operatives to deploy more troops in the area to protect the people’s lives and property and prevent further occurrence.
The number of casualties is yet to be known as at press time.
