Security operatives have arrested some suspects linked to the deadly shooting at a church in Ondo state, Southwest Nigeria.
This comes five days after the deadly shooting at the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state that left over forty persons dead.
Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye confirmed the arrest of the suspects to newsmen in Akure.
He however did not state whether those arrested were directly involved in the gruesome attack
On Thursday, residents of Owo town in their hundreds besieged the palace of the Olowo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye to demand information on the purported arrest of the suspects.
Addressing the crowd in Owo dialect, Oba Ogunoye appealed for calm, saying he heard the same unconfirmed news just like them
