The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Senator Nenadi Usman, has paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
Usman led a delegation of party leaders to sympathize with the former governor and his family over the loss of the respected matriarch. She conveyed the condolences of the Labour Party and prayed that God would grant the family the strength to bear the loss.

During the visit, a special prayer session was held for the late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, led by the party’s National Treasurer, Alhaji Hamisu Santuraki.
Responding, El-Rufai thanked Usman and the Labour Party delegation for the show of support. He recalled spending time with his mother in Cairo before her passing, noting that she remained strong in faith and continued to pray for her family until her final days.
He described her death as a painful personal loss but expressed gratitude to God for her life and legacy.
The LP delegation included Alhaji Hamisu Santuraki, Arc. Chinelo Ofoche, Comrade Anslem Eragbe, Barr. Ken Eluma Asogwa, Prince Etienne Feuba-Ketcha, and other party members.
