The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has concluded its convention with the election of new national Executives.
The executives will run the party’s affairs for the next four years with a mandate to take over the reign of power at the presidential level in 2023.
Besides the fanfare and coalition of party leaders across the country, the highpoint of the National Convention is the election of a 25-year-old as the National Youth Leader of the PDP.
Muhammad Kadade Suleiman, a young politician from Kaduna State, will be the youngest member of the National Working Committee since the creation of the PDP.
Kanade Sulieman polled 3072 votes ahead of his opponent, Mr Usman, who scored 219 votes.
Suleiman emerged following overwhelming support from the Coalition of Arewa Social Media Forum for PDP.
