NIPOST Busts Cannabis Shipment from Thailand in Lagos

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has scored a major security breakthrough after intercepting a suspicious consignment from Bangkok, Thailand, containing seven pouches of cannabis cleverly concealed inside a duvet cover.

The package, which landed in Lagos and was addressed to a recipient within the state, was flagged during routine checks. Identities of both the sender and receiver are being kept under wraps as security agencies have taken over investigations.
