In a move believed to be aimed at reconcilation, the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Board of Trustees (BoT) on Tuesday met with Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister, Nyesom Wike, behind closed doors.
Although journalists were barred from the meeting, there were speculations that it was part of efforts to resolve the lingering crisis in the party, especially in Rivers state.
The BoT had in August written Wike, seeking a meeting, just days after meeting with the Rivers state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
It was not immediately clear whether the BoT was able to reach a resolution with the minister.
