The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party has commenced a reconciliation process among all the aggrieved aspirants of the Edo State Governorship election as part of its efforts to emerge victorious on September 21, 2024.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba in a statement on Friday, disclosed that the party has constituted a Post-Primary Election Reconciliation Committee to this effect.
According to the statement, “the Committee is charged with the responsibility of reconciling all critical stakeholders and all our party members in Edo State ahead of the September 21, 2024 Governorship Election in the State.”
The members of the Committee are: H.E. Sen. Abdulkadir Bala Mohammed (Chairman), H.E. Sen. Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, CON, H.E. Sen. Barr. Seriake Dickson, H.E. Sen. Tunde Ogheha, Sen. Mrs Stella Omu, Dame Dr. Esther Uduehi, Sen. Olalere Oyewunmi, Prof. Sen. Sandy Onor, Alh. Isiaka Sola Gold, Emmanuel Enoidem, SAN (Secretary) and Barr. Jacob Otorkpa (Administrative Secretary).
The PDP NWC further called on party stakeholders to remain committed and work for the success of the party.
“The NWC urges all critical stakeholders and members of our great Party in Edo State to remain steadfast and continue to work hard for the success of our Party and Governorship Candidate, Dr. Asuerinme Ighodalo, in the September 21, 2024 Governorship Election in Edo State.”
