The 2022 ANAG Ambassador Golf Tournament has concluded successfully in Cuba.
The Golf Tournament played on the famous course of the Varadero Golf Club, had players competing from Handicap zero (professionals) to Handicap twenty-eight (relatively new golfers)
The Varadero Golf Club presented elite golfers from their club and they played with esteemed Golfers from ANAG. Not only was there fantastic Golf played, with sumptuous delicacies, food, cocktails and other beverages; there were exquisite crystal prizes presented to the various winners in the competitive categories.
The tournament which was organised by the Association of Nigerian American Golfers ( ANAG) was held in collaboration with the Embassy of Nigeria, Cuba.
According to Linda Middleton, Founder/CEO of Kaleidoscope Business Forum, speaking on behalf of ANAG, “It was a fun-filled three-day event that started on Friday, November 4, with meet-and-greet reception, to introduce the tournament rules; the competition had a Sumptuous Post-Tournament dinner in a Japanese restaurant at the Meliã Las Américas, Varadero; a bonus round of Golf on Sunday, November 6, 2022. The ANAG delegation was feted to a high-powered dinner feast with several Ambassadors representing West African countries in attendance, to honour the outgoing Dean of the African Union, Her Excellency Ambassador Kujejatou Manneh, Gambia’s Ambassador to Cuba”.
Chief Linda Middleton concluded that a huge “Thank You”, must go out to the event’s tireless host, his Excellency, Ambassador Ben Okoye, without whose indomitable spirit, perseverance and generosity, this ANAG tournament and Cuban excursion, would not have been possible.
