Paul Ibe, spokesperson for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has blasted Reno Omokri X, accusing him of hypocrisy. Ibe described Omokri as a “mockery” and called out his double-faced behavior in Nigerian politics.
“Reno Omokri, you are a mockery!” Ibe began, “you are loud, desperate, and disloyal.”
According to Ibe, Reno is a man who attacks others to hide his own failures. He said Omokri accuses people of the same wrongs he is guilty of, calling it a clear case of “psychological projection.”
He also questioned Reno’s loyalty, saying even those who smile with him today do so with caution, knowing he cannot be trusted.
“You’re like Judas Iscariot — always betraying those who trust you,” Ibe added.
Ibe didn’t hold back on Reno’s personal life either. He mocked his claim of being a pastor, pointing out that someone with two wives preaching morality to others is “comedy dipped in hypocrisy.”
The statement also addressed Omokri’s support for President Bola Tinubu, challenging him to explain how Tinubu got a certificate from a school that didn’t exist at the time.
“If you care about truth, ask the FBI to release Tinubu’s drug records,” Ibe said, referring to Reno’s past allegations against the president, whom he now showers with praises as though he had always been his supporter.
He went further to remind Reno of his past attacks on Labour Party’s Peter Obi, asking what Obi ever did to deserve such “endless and bitter” criticism.
Finally, Paul Ibe described Reno as someone who changes his opinions depending on where he can benefit.
“You flip sides faster than a windblown leaflet,” he said.
