prominent cleric, Bishop M. Kenan Hansen, has sent a strong message to the President, Bola Tinubu and Minister Nyesom Wike, to stop meddling in the affairs of Rivers State or risk divine judgment.
Speaking at the Service of Songs for Late Pa Edwin Clark over the weekend, Bishop M., known for his strong prophetic voice, declared that Governor Siminalayi Fubara is the rightful leader of Rivers State as ordained by God. He stated that any move to undermine the governor’s authority is not only politically wrong but also a direct challenge to the will of God.
“Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God,” he quoted from the book of Romans, emphasizing that Fubara’s leadership has divine backing.
He accused certain elders in Rivers State and Wike, the former governor and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, of orchestrating a political crisis against Fubara. “The Holy Spirit mentioned names. What you are doing against the sitting governor is rebellion against God’s authority,” he said.

But Bishop’s strongest rebuke was reserved for President Tinubu. Referring to a scripture from the book of Lamentations, the Bishop said the current political situation is a “subversion” of justice and governance, which heaven does not approve.
“I make bold to say to President Tinubu: lift the suspension (effective immediately) of Governor Simialaye Fubara. It is not from God. The attempt to impeach the governor is satanic,” he warned.
