Rivers State Governorship Aspirant and Lawmaker Farah Dagogo have been granted bail after two weeks of detention.
Farah, who is the member representing Degema/Bonny constituency in the House of Representatives was granted bail by the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt.
He was granted bail Thursday to the tune of N10million with two sureties in like sum.
Farah was arrested for allegations of sponsoring cultists to disrupt the screening exercise of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
The Lawmaker who is also a governorship aspirant was arrested at the venue of the PDP governorship screening in Port Harcourt and was charged to court.
The Rivers state had declared him wanted for sponsoring violent protests at the PDP office in Port Harcourt.
Socio-political group, Ijaw National Congress (INC) issued a 48hour ultimatum to the Rivers State Government to ensure Farah’s release.
