The Supreme Court reserved judgement on Monday in the petition challenging Francis Nwifuru’s election as governor of Ebonyi State.
After the parties involved adopted their briefs of argument, the Supreme Court, presided over by Justice John Okoro, adjourned the matter to a later date that is yet to be announced.

In a unanimous decision, the three-member panel led by Justice Jummai Sankey, dismissed the appeal filed by Chukwuma Odii of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The panel also resolved all the five issues raised against the appellant and dismissed the appeal for lacking in merit.
