Authorities in Ogun State have provided fresh updates following a devastating road accident earlier today involving British-Nigerian boxing icon Anthony Joshua on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The crash, which occurred around 11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025, near the Danco Filling Station in the Makun axis of Sagamu, has left two individuals dead and the former heavyweight champion hospitalized with minor injuries. Witnesses at the scene reported that the black Lexus SUV conveying Joshua and three others slammed into a stationary truck while traveling toward the boxer’s ancestral home in Sagamu.
