Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has praised the hardworking men and women who keep Lagos running, saying they are the true heroes behind the state’s growth and development.

On his X page, the governor while celebrating Workers’ Day, thanked everyone — from civil servants and teachers to transporters, artisans, and business owners — for their dedication and daily sacrifices.

Sanwo-Olu also utilized the moment to promise a brighter future for workers in Lagos. He said his government remains committed to creating a fair and inclusive system where all workers, no matter their job, feel valued and supported.

“This is more than just a thank you,” he said. “It’s a promise that your efforts won’t go unnoticed or unrewarded.”
