Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has presented a certificate of recognition and Staff of office to His Royal Majesty (Dr.) Nwachukwu S. Obuoha as Obi III, Oba (Eze Ogba) of Ogbaland.
The brief presentation ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Governor Wike said the State government long recognised the king, the day he was coronated as Oba of Ogbaland. He stated that the presentation event was a mere ceremony to affirm what had been done.
Governor Wike charged the king to use the opportunity of being the traditional father over Ogbaland to foster unity and promote peace and harmony among his subjects.
