The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has postponed the unveiling and inauguration of its National Campaign Council (NCC), earlier scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
The event will now take place on Monday, October 26, 2026.
In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director Esq., on Monday, the NDC said the postponement was due to the tight schedule of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, who is currently expected to attend an important engagement overseas.
The party apologised for any inconvenience caused by the change in date and urged its members and supporters to remain focused on its campaign objectives ahead of the forthcoming presidential and general elections.
The NDC reiterated its commitment to securing victory for Obi and all its candidates in the elections.
