Amanze Obi, Mefor, Uyah, Idiaro, Others Join Atiku Campaign Team

The leadership of the Presidential Campaign Organization (PCO) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of a former Chairman of the Editorial Board of The Sun and one-time Information commissioner in Imo state, Dr Amanze Obi, into its campaign council.

Also appointed in the expanded team are Dr Law Mefor, a public affairs analyst and leader of Igbo Bu Igbo, alongside an engineer, Mr Anthony Chukwuemeka Uyah as Deputy Director of Engineering Services and a data analyst, Mr Kolawole Idiaro, who is now an Assistant Director in the Information technology department of the campaign.

Dr Obi and Mefor will function as Campaign Media Advisors alongside veteran journalists Mkpe Abang, Nasiru Zaradune, Dr Ladan Salihu, Alh. Samaila Bala Gumau and Alh. Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi.

Others whose appointments were also announced in a statement signed by Deputy Director General of the Campaign, Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, were Deputy Director, Public Affairs (North), Alh. Bashir Hayatu Gentile; Deputy Director, Public Affairs (South), Chijioke Agu; Deputy Director, Humanitarian and IDPs, Dr Uyi Malaka; Deputy Director, Gender Mainstreaming, Haj. Fatimah Saleh; Deputy Director, Information Technology (It); Dr Steven Akuma; Deputy Director, Engineering Services, Engr. Chukwuemeka Anthony Uyah; Deputy Director, Situation Room, Mrs Onyebuchi Lenoir; Deputy Director, Training (North), Mrs Zainab Haruna; And Deputy Director, Goals & Compliance Dept. (North), Rev. Habu Dawaki.

The newly appointed assistant directors are Assistant Director (CSO) Kunle Yusuf; Assistant Director, Field Operations Dr Kayode Adaramodu; Assistant Director, Public Affairs (North, Alh. Yusuf Dan Gwayi; Assistant Director, Public Affairs (South); Dr Prince Daniel; Assistant Director, Election Intelligence, Hon. Ntol Chris Agibe; Assistant Director, Election Management (Northeast), Dr Saidu Garmau; Assistant Director, Election Management (Northwest); Dr Ahmed Adamu, Assistant Director (North Central), Election Management; Dr Raymond Daboh; Assistant Director, Situation Room, Mr Adedayo Ojo And Assistant Director, Training (Northwest), Dr Naeed Ibrahim.

Appointed as director in the Mandate Protection Unit of the campaign is Barr. Alex Adum while Prince Barr. Shedrack A. Akolokwu is deputy director, and Stanley Eze becomes Assistant Deputy Director.

The technology department was also beefed up with an It Officer, Akpo Lekeji; Satellite And Broadcast Systems, Engr. James Abodurin; Network Engineers, Engr. Richard Oche, Engr. Joseph Oweicho; Software Engineer, Engr. Peter Dokpesi

Messers Ramesh Naik, Robert Manguwat, Emmanuel Adepoju, Idowu Olayiwola, Dr Hamma Jam have joined the campaign as Data Analysts, while Amb. Farouk Malami Yabo becomes Special Envoy, Diaspora.

Mohammed Baba is appointed as a media analyst to the campaign.
