The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially announced that its 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will hold on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
This reminder follows a resolution made during the PDP’s 600th National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. On the same day, the Acting National Chairman, Ambassador Iliya Damagum, confirmed the upcoming NEC meeting in a media briefing.

According to a public notice signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the meeting will take place at PDP National Secretariat by 12 noon.
“All constitutionally accredited NEC members are advised to please attend punctually,” the notice emphasized.

The NEC is one of the highest decision-making bodies in the PDP and is expected to deliberate on major issues affecting the party, including internal leadership matters and preparations for upcoming elections.
