The Court has granted bail to human rights activist Omoyele Sowore and several other protesters arrested during the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow demonstrations earlier this week.
The protesters, who were detained for allegedly violating a movement restriction order around the Transcorp Hilton area in Abuja, appeared in court on Friday amid tight security.
Tensions were high during the proceedings, with reports of confusion over document printing and access to legal counsel. However, the court eventually ruled in favor of granting bail to the detained protesters.
