The Labour Party has congratulated Alex Otti on his third anniversary in office, describing him as Nigeria’s best performing governor and the finest product of the party’s 2023 electoral success.
In a press statement issued on Friday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ken Eluma Asogwa, the party praised Otti’s leadership style and developmental strides in Abia State, saying his administration has proven that the Labour Party “governs with a difference.”
The party noted that Otti’s performance has earned widespread recognition from several rating organisations across the country, adding that his impact in governance continues to distinguish him nationally.
“As a party, we are proud that the nation’s most impactful governor today is a product of the Labour Party,” the statement read.
The Labour Party also expressed confidence that residents of Abia State would reward the governor with renewed support in the 2027 general elections due to what it described as his bold reforms and transformative achievements across key sectors of the state economy.
The party further commended Otti for remaining focused despite what it called “distractions and needless opposition” from forces that allegedly held the state hostage for more than two decades before his emergence.
It added that the governor has continued to demonstrate commitment to purposeful governance and service delivery to the people of the state.
The statement concluded by wishing Governor Otti greater success in his administration and continued service to the people of Abia State.
